OUR TEAM

  • dr. shane garrison | transitional pastor

I am honored to serve Immanuel Church during this strategic time of transition. Along with ministry, I serve on the faculty of the Campbellsville University School of Theology.

  • Scott wiggins | minister of education & worship

My name is Scott Wiggins and I have served here at Immanuel Baptist for over 28 years. I was the Youth Pastor for many years and now I serve as Minister of Education and Worship. We have a blended style of worship where we sing some of the older hymns many of us grew up with and also a lot of the newer more contemporary songs we hear on Christian radio.

I am a South Carolina native with two incredible sons that are both very talented and I am blessed beyond belief. I struggle alongside many of you as we attempt to raise Godly children in an increasingly challenging culture. It’s a tough responsibility but one we must not grow weary in doing. My life passage is Habakkuk 3:17-19 “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of the deer, he enables me to go on the heights.”

  • Chris gore | MInister to Students & Children

My name is Chris Gore. I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama.  I married my wife in 2004 and we have three children. I graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a degree in communication. Currently I am pursuing my Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministries from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville.  One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 6:8 which says: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord say, whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said “Here am I Lord. Send me.” I believe that as Christians we should all stand ready to go where God calls us to go. My goal is to provide a fun and safe environment for children, youth, and their families to learn about the Lord and gain the confidence they need to step up and go where God calls them in their lives.
