I am honored to serve Immanuel Church during this strategic time of transition. Along with ministry, I serve on the faculty of the Campbellsville University School of Theology.
My name is Scott Wiggins and I have served here at Immanuel Baptist for over 28 years. I was the Youth Pastor for many years and now I serve as Minister of Education and Worship. We have a blended style of worship where we sing some of the older hymns many of us grew up with and also a lot of the newer more contemporary songs we hear on Christian radio.
I am a South Carolina native with two incredible sons that are both very talented and I am blessed beyond belief. I struggle alongside many of you as we attempt to raise Godly children in an increasingly challenging culture. It’s a tough responsibility but one we must not grow weary in doing. My life passage is Habakkuk 3:17-19 “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of the deer, he enables me to go on the heights.”
I am originally from Clarksville, Indiana. I have been serving at Immanuel Baptist Church since August of 2017. I have been married since December 1995, and have two wonderful children. I am very blessed to work in such an amazing church. "For the ministry of this services is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God." 2 Corinthians 9:12
